Peanut butter is a paste made from cooked peanuts. And It also has a high amount of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and fiber. And it is the ideal superfood for humans due to their high protein levels. Although peanut butter is suitable for us, the humans, it is not okay to feed this to our little pets. So now the question arises why can’t they eat it (link removed by moderator)

Peanut butter is too high in carbohydrates and fibre for ferrets and is very likely to cause blockages as they can’t digest these things very well.
please recheck this as i have experienced that with my ferret. and i also do write on basis of my experience.
No! Ferrets shouldn’t be given peanuts or peanut butter.
Beside the sugar content issues the ferret doesn’t have a cecum and cannot break down fruits, nuts or vegetable matter.
Your in the right place for your ferret but you really need to do some more reading on what your ferret can safely eat.
Ferrets are obligate carnivores and need meat to operate as there digestive system is designed for breaking down meat or meat derived products.
